FIRST DANCE SOCIAL!!!!

 Everyone is welcome make sure you try to make it because its a great way to meet everyone and have a lot of fun :) it will be on the 14th September at your student union Source bar at 8pm everyone can mingle for a bit and then we can play a few games, after a few drinks we will head out into town :)
Cheep and easy fancy dress and easy to spot you freshers :)

Thought these pictures would give you a good idea what to wear! we do like to make an effort but try and make it as cheap as possible :)

Tuesday: 

Open Classes

Jazz: 6pm - 7pm

Hip-Hop: 7pm - 8pm 

Wednesday: 

Open Classes 

Ballet: 1pm - 2pm 

Lyrical: 2pm-3pm 

Saturday:

Competition Rehearsals  

11am - 2pm 

If competing in competition then we expect you to turn up to every rehearsal to be at a good standard team!

Welcome freshers!!!

If you can dance, or just like dancing and want to be part of a society then you need to get involved and join Uclan Dance Society. EVERYONE is welcome male or female! if you just want to show off your dance moves, improve or simple enjoy learning routines.  
We do a variety of styles such as:

•  Contemporary
•  Ballet
•  Lyrical 
•  Hip-Hop 

You can compete in competitions over England and this year we are organizing the competition at UCLAN! ( Rehearsal times and dates will be reviled so you can check out your timetables) 

The dance society isn't all about dancing its about having fun too and one great way to meet new friends "personally my first year wouldn't have been half as good if i hadn't joined", so if you have come alone and not met many people then a good place to start. We have many dance socials over the year we dress up as a theme and we also have some nights out were we can look Lush. we also go for meals as a society which is fun and nice sometimes to do something different from a night out even though dance socials are always the best nights out!   

 We are going to be at the freshers fair so you can sign up there, join our Facebook page or just send a post on hear, all the up dates will be going on here so keep checking the blog out!
